Borders Samaritans are a branch of Samaritans.

We’ve been based in Selkirk in the heart of the Scottish Borders for over 40 years. Although one of the UK’s smaller branches, our dedicated team of volunteers provide emotional support to people in times of need.

If you need someone to talk to, we listen. We won't judge or tell you what to do. Whatever you're going through, you can call us any time, from any phone for FREE.

If you’re looking to make a difference in people’s lives and would like to find out more about how you can help, please contact us. We run volunteer information sessions throughout the year and offer a variety of roles in branch.
